Scapa Flow
in the Orkney Islands
has a long history as a safe deep
water harbour. Its strategic location between the North
Sea and the Atlantic Ocean is on the shortest great
circle route between Northern Europe and North America.
It is already at the crossroads of world oil trade and
is a regular route used by the world's largest oil
tankers.
To raise awareness of the location as an
ideal choice for a container transhipment terminal
HCVF
co-operated with a local design agency to produce this
interactive CD/DVD package which combines live aerial
footage with 3D animated computer graphics simulations
of the proposed development.
The 3D maps and high resolution graphic
simulations, created in our graphics department were
used extensively in the accompanying literature package.
