Our Avid Xpress Pro HD Edit Suite now offers an economic alternative for fast digital cutting.

The system is mounted on a Pentium 4 platform with 1Gbyte RAM and about 800 Gbytes Hard Drive storage, with Windows XP Professional operating system. It is running the latest Avid Xpress Pro software V5.2.4 and is equipped with a Como 1394 Pro SDI signal converter which facilitates easy acquisition from all sources from composite video to serial digital interface for Digital Betacam, DVC Pro 50/25 and Betacam SX .

Like our other systems, the Avid Xpress Pro suite may be hired "dry" or with an experienced Avid editor and/or graphic artist, and all special effects and graphic equipment in situ is easily networked to the workstation.

We have an extensive library of Highlands and Islands video footage , Covering Castles, Historic sites, Towns, Scenic grandeur, Aerial shots, Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness, Crafts, Light and heavy industry, Electronics, IT . . And more, (mostly Beta SP, Beta SX and DVC Pro, but also including some vintage High Band), which can be made available as required.
